▴ Zuccardi Serie A Bonarda 2018

If you think Argentina is all about Malbec, think again. Bonarda, an Italian grape variety, is its second most widely grown red wine grape variety. It is often referred to as a “work-horse grape” and used for blending, but in Argentina, it can produce wines of great character and charm. I am a great fan of Bonarda and the Zuccardi Serie A Bonarda offers a delicious mid-bodied wine with an attack of vibrant black cherry and greengages with hints of dark chocolate and citric fruit on the finish. It is beautifully balanced and utterly moreish.
