Mid-gold colour, very distinct nose with intriguing hints of lemon sherbet, very rich intense core of Bramley apples slightly bruised, very textured, elegant, pure with a long finish. This is a serious Vermentino, not a summer day’s Vermentino. Thoughtful and intriguing. The wine, which is 100% Vermentino, spends 15 days on the skins in small amphoras.
