 Tenuta di Trinoro Le Coupole  2022

Le Coupole the second wine of Tenuta di Trinoro was first produced in 1995. A blend of  57% Merlot 26% Cabernet Franc, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot this young wine is bursting with vibrant ripe blackcurrants and Bing cherries, with hints of Mediterranean herbs. An arrow of acidity piercing through the generous fruit, tannins are integrated and there is a delicious lick of liquorice which is almost medicinal. A long firm finish with a little heat which belies the dry vintage. Energy personified and very moreish.
